DEADLY FACTS....

Smoking kills about 5.4 million people every year, is set to kill 6.5 million in 2015, and 8.3 million in 2030. Every 6.5 seconds a current or former smoker dies according to the World Health Organization. Over 450,000 Americans die because of smoking each year and 8 million suffer chronic diseases.  Secondhand smoke kills about 50,000 of them. Tobacco use will kill 1 billion people in the 21st century if current smoking trends continue. Smokers die on average 15 years sooner than nonsmokers.

Being overweight can become a matter of life and death. People who are overweight are more likely to develop a number of potentially serious health problems such as: high blood pressure, stroke, diabetes, abnormal blood fats increasing the level of LDL (bad) cholesterol, osteoarthritis, sleep apnea, gallstones and weak pelvic muscles. They have a higher risk of developing many different kinds of cancer. People who are overweight have difficulty breathing, walking or sitting.

It has been reported that over 1 million people in the world commit suicide every year. More than 30,000 of these are said to be from the United States. People commit suicide for a variety of reasons. The most common reasons are due to stress with work, money, relationships and depression. When someone commits suicide, it can usually come as a surprise and shock to family and friends. Many people who are thinking about suicide never really admit they are seriously considering about ending their life. Their low moods are often mistaken for just being 'down in the dumps.'

Hypnotherapy really works! It changes your life by changing your mind

Are you ready to take charge of your life for a happier, healthier and stress free future?
Are you tired of not getting any results after visiting talk therapists countless times?
Are you getting tired of fears and phobias getting in the way of your happiness?
Are you too embarrassed to ask for help for your sexual performance anxiety?
Do you want to increase your sales power, profit and earn more income?
Do you want to increase your self-esteem and boost your confidence?
Do you want to quit smoking without any gums or patches or pills?
Do you want to lose weight without any drugs or any surgery?
Do you want to decrease your depression in a short time?

If your answers are YES, I can help you achieve your goal

You will achieve your desired goal by using the power of your own subconscious mind as the hypnotherapist place your conscious desires into it; so you will be free from the inner arguments with yourself. Therefore you'll take most of the credit for your success. The hypnotherapist will be serving as a guide on a backpacking trip; showing you the way as you will still be carrying your own backpack through this change, making the right conscious choices. You must be really ready for this change in your life in order to be successful.

The scientific research reveals that "the mind of man" is truly one of the greatest powers in the universe. As human beings we have within us a tremendous source of energy, power and strength that enable us to accomplish anything we want to achieve.

We have the wings to fly away from whatever is keeping us down. Even if we are on the right tracks, we will get run over if we just sit there and do nothing. Positive thinking is the key to happiness. So, if you believe that it is really time to change for a happier, healthier, and stress free life, give yourself permission to succeed.

What is hypnosis and hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a completely safe and natural, yet altered, state of mind. In hypnosis your mind is singularly focused and alert. In the hypnotic state there is a feeling of the world fading away and retreating to a different, deeper part of you. Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis for therapeutic reasons. It is the soothing process of directing subconscious thought toward patterns of healthy living. Basically hypnotherapy is the method of opening up the subconscious mind. Once the subconscious mind is opened two things can occur: the removal of old, unhealthy thoughts and the replacement of them with new powerful, healthy thoughts.

Hypnotherapy changes your life because it changes your mind.

Most people spend their entire lives not knowing why they can't lose weight or quit smoking with lasting effect. The problem is that they are attempting to change what is on the computer screen without reprogramming the hard drive. In other words, they are not getting to the source of the problem, their subconscious thought.

All memories, learning, behaviors, and changes are made at the subconscious level of the mind. When you recall someone's phone number or memory, you are accessing your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind is really the boss. It's the one that knows what you like, what you don't like, what you really want in your life, what you fear. And, of course, you might have forgotten what some of your fears are at the conscious level. Your subconscious mind did not forget, though. Whether you want it or not, those fears (called limiting beliefs) are actually controlling your life.

Hypnotherapy is an easy, effective and a great way for losing weight, getting rid of unwanted habits, eliminating insomnia, sadness, stress, anxiety, fear, building self confidence. Please see my "Services" page for an inclusive list of services.

I am very intelligent, can I be hypnotized?

Absolutely! As a matter of fact, intelligent people seem to have a better success in hypnosis. The smarter you are the greater chance you have of a successful hypnotism and achieving your goal. Anyone with over IQ of 70, have an open mind, the ability to concentrate, and the willingness to go into hypnosis can be hypnotized. The only people who cannot be hypnotized are those who are intoxicated or don't want to be hypnotized or having a fear of giving up control.

Will I be under someone else's control?

No! When hypnosis is used on stage for entertainment purposes, it may appear as the people on stage are being controlled, but in reality they are just very relaxed, and aware of exactly what they are doing. You can not be influenced to do anything against your will or nature. You won’t bark like a dog or say something private. You will not do anything that you do not think is acceptable. You cannot be 'made' to violate your own values or accepted patterns of behavior. You would either reject the suggestion or come out of the hypnotic state.

Will I be in control and aware of what is happening?

Yes, all the time. You do not go 'out', or 'under' or 'to sleep'. You are not unconscious either. You are in an alternative state of consciousness with a very narrow focus of attention. You can hear everything that is being said. Nothing happens without your consent. You are in control, just extremely relaxed. 99% of people remember everything they or the therapist said during the session.

Hypnotherapy is Medically and Scientifically Proven..

Hypnotherapy is approved by International Medial and Dental Hypnotherapy association, Journal of the American Medical Association and American Psychological Association. It is being used by the police departments, FBI and the US NAVY.

What’s the difference between Hypnotherapy and traditional talk therapy?

Traditional talk therapy works with the conscious part of the mind and it could take years. Hypnotherapy is a quicker and permanent fix. As little as a few sessions, you could achieve your goals for a happier and healthier life.

The History of Hypnosis…

Hypnotism as a tool for health seems to have originated with the Hindus of ancient India who often took their sick to “sleep temples” to be cured by hypnotic suggestions. It is also found to be the case in ancient Egypt and Greece.

Although hypnosis has been used thousands of years, the term “Hypnotism” were adopted by a Scottish physician and surgeon name James Braid in 1841.
Before that, it was called “Mesmerism.” It comes from the last name of Franz Anton Mesmer who was the first to practice what we would call hypnosis today. Mesmer thought that it was some kind of animal magnetism that he possessed that enabled him to cure some people of their sufferings.

Dr. James Esdaile who lived between 1805 and 1859 reported 345 major operations performed using mesmeric sleep, (meaning hypnosis,)  as the sole anesthetic in British India, before the chemical anesthetics were invented.

Dr. John Elliotson, an English surgeon reported numerous painless surgical operations that had been performed using hypnosis in 1834.

Hypnosis was also used by field doctors in the American Civil war.

The use of hypnosis in the treatment of neuroses flourished in World War I, World War II and the Korean War. Hypnosis techniques were merged with psychiatry and was used in the treatment of what is known today as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

The modern study of hypnotism have begun in the 1920s with Clark Leonard Hull at Yale University. He was a psychologist.

The British Medical Association approved the use of hypnosis in 1955.

The Roman Catholic Church banned hypnotism until the mid-20th century when, in 1956, Pope Pius XII gave his approval of hypnosis. He stated that the use of hypnosis by health care professionals for diagnosis and treatment is permitted.

In 1958, the American Medical Association approved hypnosis on the medical use.

Two years after American Medical Association’s approval, the American Psychological Association endorsed hypnosis as a branch of psychology.

In 1945 Milton Erickson began to incorporate hypnosis into his MD Psychiatric practice and hypnotherapy began to gain a reputation as a viable form of treatment. Today Erickson's teachings have developed into NLP or Ericksonian hypnosis.

In 1967, Harry Arons, a self-taught professional hypnotist, wrote a textbook, called “Hypnosis in Criminal Investigation”. Chapters include applications such as memory, age regression, and induction techniques. Arons also traveled the country training law enforcement agencies.

Dave Elman (1900-1967) helped to promote the medical use of hypnosis in the 1960s. Although Elman had no medical training, he is known for having trained the most physicians and psychotherapists in America, in the use of hypnotism.
He is also known for introducing rapid inductions to the field of hypnotism. An induction method he introduced over fifty years ago is still one of the favored inductions used by many of today's practitioners.
